46 degrees and raining...ha!

Nguy_engagement_126.jpg

One of the things I'm really excited about with this new Dark Slide home is the ease in which I can post shoots quickly. And so we'll begin a new running feature--a stand alone image with a linked gallery--from this shoot at the Tidal Basin with Minh and Kyle, whose wedding I'll be shooting in September. These guys flew all the way from Houston for a cherry blossom engagement shoot and we weren't about to let some cold air (okay, 46 degrees at the time this photograph was taken) and steady rain (okay, it had just begun to hail) get in the way.

For more from their weather-defying session, check out the new photo gallery section.

Typical Kansas weather you are having back there in DC! Kyle reminds me of the bass singer from The Oak Ridge Boys and Minh is simply beautiful. That'll be a hard wedding to shoot, huh?

I won't tell you the images are great, because they always are.

The cherry blossoms, the bride-to-be, and your images are just gorgeous!

Very nice blog -- what would Maya charge for a similar one for the REST of us?? haha

Congratulations on the enthusiastic bridal reviews in this month's PDN... well deserved!

Cheers,

Derek

Matt, I love the new link to the galleries. So easy! As for this particular shoot, STUNNING! Minh is breathtaking... as Bruce said, she will be fun to shoot on her wedding day. :)
